Several towns in the region have very active Farmer’s Markets. Bangor, Brewer and Orono are the largest in the area. They all offer fresh produce, local baked good made from locally sourced ingredients and much more.

Bangor has two farmer’s markets that are open weekly. The Ohio Street Farmer’s Market at the Bangor Grange Hall is open on Wednesdays from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. during the summer and has varied hours, indoors,  during the fall and winter months. The Bangor Farmer’s Market is located right across from the Bangor Public Library on Harlow Street. It is open every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Orono Farmer’s Market is located on College Avenue near the University of Maine campus. It has summer hours on Tuesdays 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
