Orchestra Pays Tribute to Rock Great with Space Oddity: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience

March 9, 2019 @ 7:30 pm

The Bangor Symphony Orchestra’s annual Pops concert takes place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. This year, the BSO is joined by tribute artist David Brighton and his band for Space Oddity: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience, conducted by Jeffrey L. Patterson.

Space Oddity: The Ultimate David Bowie Experience is a live, multi-media spectacle that takes audiences on a musical journey through the constantly metamorphosing career of Rock and Roll’s most celebrated innovator. David Brighton is credited as being the world’s best David Bowie impersonator and appeared alongside Bowie himself on his album Reality and in the TV commercials for Vittel Mineral Water.

The LA Review writes, “David Brighton’s charisma keeps the audience mesmerized and his vocals are flawless… His likeness to Bowie is eerie… The crowd actually gasped in amazement as he took the stage.”
