Traveling to & from Canada

If you are planning to travel across Maine's border into Canada, it is important that you bring along your passport.

U.S. Customs will provide you with a free brochure entitled "Traveling from U.S. to Canada and Returning". It provides details about U.S. Customs rules and regulations. Canadian Customs will provide you with details about traveling from Canada to the U.S. and returning. You can get a copies or either brochure by writing or calling the respective customs offices below or by visiting the Officical Canada Border Services Agency website at www.cbsa.gc.ca/menu-eng.html. Or by visiting the U.S. Passport Services website at www.travel.state.gov.
